Join us for a special Online Family Art Day! Led by an experienced teaching artist, children and their caregivers are invited to virtually explore Japan Society Gallery’s new exhibition, When Practice Becomes Form: Carpentry Tools from Japan, to learn about Japanese art and culture and become inspired to create their own architectural spaces. Families will then put that inspiration to use through a guided craft activity using simple materials from home. Roll up your sleeves and get ready for a fun-filled day of art!

Ticket Information:
$15/$12 members. Recommended for ages 6-10 year olds and their caregivers. Only one registration per family is required. Space is limited to 20 families. Registration includes one complimentary adult admission to on-site Gallery exhibition. Children under the age of 16 may visit the gallery for free.

Education and Family Programs are generously supported by an anonymous donor, public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and The Norinchukin Foundation.
