Thank you for your interest in this event. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have postponed this event.

In addition, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is further exacerbating matters, as Japan and Western nations impose economic sanctions against Russia. The International Monetary Fund has slashed its expectations for global growth forecast, due to the Ukraine war and sanctions on Russia. In particular, the current geopolitical situation associated with the Russia-Ukraine war is expected to further severe the global supply chain, instilling an urgency for many countries to discuss the restructuring of supply chains. What are the short- and long-term impacts of this supply chain disruption? How will it affect the United States and Japan? In this program, experts discuss the current geopolitical tensions, the impact of economic sanctions on Russia on the global supply chain, and the outlook for 2022 and beyond.
