Murase Room

The Murase Room is a versatile venue appropriate for both corporate events and more social occasions. The room’s floor-to-ceiling sliding glass windows open onto Japan Society’s serene waterfall, pond and sculpture garden; the room can also be used in conjunction with the adjacent Main Foyer to enlarge and enhance the space, accommodating up to 250 guests for reception events and 100 people for private seated events, such as a dinner or lecture.

The room is equipped with audiovisual systems and projection screens if needed, and an adjoining kitchen is available for use by caterers and service staff.

The Murase Room is available for such events as:

  • Cocktail receptions
  • Corporate breakfasts, luncheons, & dinners
  • Presentations
  • Meetings
  • Workshops
  • Conferences
  • Lectures

Reception: 150 (250 when combined with the Main Foyer) Meal/Lecture: 100
